Our first meet of the season was
a great success with a huge win over rival Thomas Jefferson High
School (131-51). The Lady Patriots showed incredible depth by
winning 9 out of 12 contested events, including going 1 - 2 in all
the relays!
The highlights of the meet were
the two State Qualifying efforts of the Medley Relay Team (Amelia,
Catherine, Erica, and Julia) and then Catherine's 100 Breaststroke.
Our relays teams came up huge by
outscoring TJ 36 to 4 in the relay events.
It was truly awesome to walk into TJ with 50
girls! I must say our chant of "G-What....G-Dubb" was quite
impressive! Way to go
girls! A great start to the season. |
