Despite some brilliant
performances, the Lady Patriot swimmers lost their first dual meet
of the season vs. the Angels from East HS. (109 to 77)
The meet started off auspiciously
as the top 200 Medley Relay team was disqualified for false
starting. Our girls were tight!
After the diving break, however,
we regained our swim "legs" and won four of the last seven events
including the Patriot highlight of the day, Chloe's fingertip
victory in the 400 free relay to close out the meet.
It was nice to finally get some
real competition...especially from that Phantom Spanish Breaststroke
"Angel Fluff."
Grace Kohn, Heather Yin, and
Julia Clark, three outstanding seniors (and co-captains), completed
their dual-meet careers at GW. Good luck in the future, girls! |
