Our team is still finding its
swim legs, but today's meet against Montbello showed much
improvement. The focus of the meet was flip turns, and without
exception, everyone did a great job.
Montbello was overmatched by our
team as GW won every event in scoring a 102-44 victory over the
Warriors.
The highlight of the meet was
Chris E's 500-yard freestyle. He had never swum it before, and
he successfully pulled off all 19 flip-turns! Nice job Chris.
Our new swimmers continue to
impress. Robert T did a great job in the 100 breaststroke,
Adam S did great in the free, and Evan W keeps stepping up.
Way to go boys!
Finally, Kyle and Xavier continue
being the backbone of our team. They've been strong in all of
their individual events, and their solid in every relay.
Next Up: DPS Relays at
Manual High School on Thursday, March 18th. |
