GW WINS TWO MEETS IN TWO DAYS!

It's been a busy week with two meets scheduled back-to-back, and our team continued it's winning ways and dominance over the DPS teams.

First up on Tuesday was GW vs. Fairview in Boulder where we won 11 of 12 events and won by a final score of 95.5 to 85.5.  The meet came down to the last relay where, if we won the race, we won the meet.  If we lost the relay, we would lose the meet.  It was very exciting as Seth, Dan, Kevin, and Kyle teamed up to take down the boys from Fairview.

There were several great swims including Ben H. and Xavier B. in the breaststroke and all the relays competed very well.

On Wednesday, we headed over to East HS to compete against the rival Angels.  Despite some unfortunate officiating, we won all twelve events and thoroughly crushed East by a score of 107 to 77.  It could have been worse as most of our best swimmers competed in their "off" events.

The highlight of the day was going 1-2 in the 200 Medley and 4x100 Free relays.  We also took first in the 4x50 relay.  ALL THE TEAMS MADE STATE QUALIFYING TIMES!

Our dual meet event record within DPS is an outstanding 35 of 36 with our only loss coming in the 50 free against TJ.  We've only lost one race!

Next up:  DPS League Prelims and Final on Friday, May 14th and 15th at Manual.
