I thought we had a great chance
to take the team title in the DPS relay meet on Thursday, March
18th, but we were one person short...and came up short to the East
Angel by TWO POINTS!
We had a couple of academically
ineligible swimmers along with some other "hold outs", and it cost
us. During the meet, I actually didn't think it was that close
as it seemed like East was winning many events and placing very high
with its B-relays. So, when the score was announced (324-322),
it came as a surprise.
Last year, TJ took the top
honors, and they placed third in 2010.
Special thanks to divers Sean
Chilelli and Ben Johnson for stepping up and competing in several
relays. Without them, it would not have been very close at
